Board members: Brant Dever, Jessica Jordan, Kathleen Martin, and Amy Wenck (unable to attend: Chuck Eaglin). Jerry Barth attended from Kirkpatrick Management.

Jessica called the meeting to order and welcomed and thanked those for attending.

With proxies received and with those in attendance we achieved a quorum.

Brant read the 2019 annual meeting minutes. Jeff Adler made a motion to accept the minutes, Jessica Jordan seconded the motion and it was approved.

Amy gave the treasurer’s report. Jeff Adler made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report, Jessica Jordan seconded the motion and it was approved.

Jessica shared updates and points about the proposed 2020 budget. With being frugal and benefiting from some positive impacts we have had 5 years without an increase in dues. With the needs of our older community and the impact of inflation and increasing costs we now need to raise the dues.

Jerry and Jessica answered questions about the 2020 proposed budget.

Jerry reviewed information about the 2020 board election. Those running gave a brief summary about themselves and why they want to serve on the board.

Jerry then shared information and answered questions about the proposed rental cap amendment. It has been proposed to help limit the number of units that are rented out in the community. We need 51% of the ownership to approve this.

We then completed our paper ballots to vote on the budget, board members, and the proposed rental cap amendment. Results for board election and the budget were tabulated. The rental cap amendment was tabled.

The board election results were shared and the 2020 board members are: Brittiny Clinton, Brant Dever, Chuck Eaglin, Rick Grey, Jessica Jordan, Kathleen Martin, and Amy Wenck.

According to the preliminary count, the budget did not pass. An audit of all votes was planned for the following day (Tuesday 1/14/20). Following the audit, it was determined that the budget passed.

The 2020 board then met briefly and selected officers for 2020:

  • President: Jessica Jordan (1st year/2nd term)
  • Vice president: Brittiny Clinton (1st year/1st term)
  • Treasurer: Amy Wenck (2nd year/1st term)
  • Secretary: Brant Dever (2nd year/1st term)
  • Member-at large: Kathleen Martin (2nd year/1st term)
  • Member-at large: Chuck Eaglin (2nd year/1st term)
  • Member-at large: Rick Grey (1st year/1st term)

The next meeting is scheduled for Monday February 10th at 6:30pm at the clubhouse.
