Canterbury Board Meeting Minutes for October 2022

6:30pm, October 10, 2022, in person in the Clubhouse

Attendees

  • Board members present: Susan Brandt, Nikki Duckworth, Bob Kincaid, Vanessa Miller, Nancie Bair, Barbara Krallman, Kim Jors, and KMC Property Manager Kevan Carriger.
  • Owners present: There were 34 property owners present. They are: Susie Waltz, Mark Horton, Connie Drury, Julia Peyton, Bobbie Anderson, Kathleen Martin, Ange Armando, Nancy Sladeski, Fonda Crandall, Carmen Wesley, David Swanney, David Willis, Lucia Wellington, Madison Haveryly-Binder, Michelle Perdue, Terry Ridge, John Anderson, Rick McOmber, Tammy Martin, Sandra Guerra, Tama White, Glenda Lindsay, Elana, Ed Wenck, Kurt Kelso, Al Stovall, Alex Mezheritsky, Sandra Racy, Austin Stovall, Adra Greenwalt, Deborah Templeton, O. Gonzales, Linda Coleman, Jason Riddle.

Meeting called to order at 6:30 pm.

Community Input

  • Discussion on information that was sent to all homeowners regarding Canterbury HOA Board of Directors’ Memorandum Regarding Building Leaks and Related Repairs. Motion made to accept and implement memorandum, second by Nikki Duckworth and Vanessa Miller. Discussion followed. The board unanimously passed the memorandum.
  • Connie Drury mentioned that some time ago the main sewer line would be cleaned out. Kevan Carriger will look into this.
  • Paint light poles and clean glass, get vendor bid, SBrandt said KMC maintenance will do
  • Board asked to contact Keith Potts, area’s City-County person, about vacant buildings in Greenbrier shopping center directly west of Canterbury
  • Please pave over potholes, Kevan will get updated quote
  • Loose fence board behind 1150 Canterbury Ct
  • Please repair chipped sidewalks, a hazard
  • 1139 Canterbury Ct needs soffit repaired
  • 1151 Canterbury Ct 4-plex door is locked now but door needs to be replaced

Board Session

  • Minutes read and approved.
  • Treasure report given by Bob Kincaid and approved.
Old Business
  • Getting pothole quote
  • Make list of doors missing address #s and get 3 choices to choose 1 so uniform
  • Bill-weekly cleaning will start week if 10/10/2022
New Business
  • Environmentally safe products for older pipes were on display for home owners to check out. Do NOT use products like Drano.

Next months meeting will be held November 14, 2022.
