Community Input
- Request to have in person meetings again at the clubhouse.
- Request to receive the meeting agenda before the meeting or perhaps have it on the website/clubhouse bulletin board prior to the meeting.
- Comments and discussion about landscaping. Comments shared included: would like more community involvement, proposal/plans, clearer expectations, professional workers involved in all the landscaping.
- Road work is coming up on 86th street- we’ll monitor and if it affects our entrance on 86th street we’ll temporarily open our west gate.
Board Session
- Reviewed and approved minutes from the last meeting in February.
- Robert presented the treasurer’s report and it was accepted.
Management Report
Reviewed maintenance log.
New Business
- Roofing: request for appraisal sent to West Bend (our insurance provider). Appraisers have been assigned. The process could take some time and William will check on the status and keep us updated.
- Insulation check: Kevan has a spreadsheet with the goal of inspecting 30 areas each month. Tabled/on hold now due to the pandemic–possibly restart this in the summer.
- Landscaping: now working with Landscape Solutions and William asked us to forward any landscaping questions/comments to him.
- Dog rules: reviewing bylaws and will be having discussion coming up with our attorney. (See the outcome of this work here.)
- Dog park idea: William is exploring this and gathering additional information. Need to determine clear property lot lines on the west side of Canterbury and would like an engineer to review this. Concerns were shared about possible issues with a dog park–just gathering information at this point.
- Center island lighting: quote was forwarded to the board. Susan shared that it would be beneficial to have a professional review of all our exterior lighting in Canterbury to see what would be best and to maintain consistency.
Executive Session
Reviewed delinquencies.
Meeting Adjourned
Next meeting will be on Monday 4/12/21 at 6:30pm (by conference call during the pandemic).
Respectfully submitted,
Brant Dever, Secretary
